THE RESTORATION, The restitution

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive UNTIL the times of RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3: 20 - 21

THE RESTORATION OF THE GOSPEL
.
It means a reestablishment of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth in the last days, with the powers, ordinances, doctrines, offices, and all things as they have existed in former ages. It means a gathering together of the house of Israel from its scattered condition. Thus it is frequently spoken of as the restitution (or restoration) of all things, as in Acts 3:19–21. The time in which all these things are accomplished is called the dispensation of the fulness of times (Eph. 1:10; D&C 27:6, 13).

THE RESTORATION OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID (For kingship of kings)

11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I WILL BUILD IT AS IN THE DAYS OF OLD: Amos 9: 11

4 For the children of Israel shall abide MANY DAYS WITHOUT A KING, and WITHOUT A PRINCE, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD (Jesus Christ) their God, and DAVID THEIR KING (A new David); and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days. (Hosea 3: 4-5)

THE RESTORATION OF A NEW KING: “DAVID THE BRANCH”

9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and DAVID THEIR KING, whom I will raise up unto them. Jeremiah 30: 9

24 And I the LORD (Jesus Christ) will be their God, and my servant DAVID A PRINCE AMONG THEM; I the LORD have spoken it. Ezekiel 34: 24 - 31

21 And I will clothe him (The Branch) with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit THY GOVERMENT into HIS HAND: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 And the KEY OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID WILL I lay upon HIS SHOULDER; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. (The power to move kings or presidents) Isaiah 22: 21 – 24
These scriptures clearly state that a new Prince called "David" will be born in the future.

THE RESTORATION OF A NEW INDEPENDIENT NATION: SION

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain (The politic kingdom) of the LORD’s house (The royal house) shall be established in the top of the mountains (nations), and shall be exalted above the hills (The kings); and all nations shall flow unto it. Isaiah 2: 2

4 And he (The Branch) shall judge (govern) among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more. (End of the wars)

6 Yet have I SET MY KING (The Branch) upon my holy hill of ZION.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. (I have established you as king)
8 Ask of me, and I SHALL GIVE THEE the heathen for thine inheritance, and the UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH for THY POSSESSION.
9 Thou shalt break them with A ROD OF IRON; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. (Psalms 2: 6-9)
